[5262] DCIS Technician (Webhosting)

Clearance: NATO Secret
Location: Mons, Belgium (onsite)

As part of day-to-day tasks, the contractor will work on (but not limited to):

1. Supporting and maintaining core infrastructure services (including SharePoint, Active Directory, DNS, ADFS, etc.) across deployed environments.
2. Assist with the deployment of new system baselines based on internal configuration and change control processes.
3. Monitor performance and health of critical services, identifying issues before they impact users.
4. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance for assigned infrastructure systems.
5. Apply and validating security hardening policies (GPOs, baselines, patching) in coordination with the cybersecurity team.
6. Collaborate with the centralized IT Service Desk for incident response, problem management, and change implementation.
7. Document updates to system security settings, configuration changes, and procedures in clear, structured formats.
8. Ensure that any task-related technical documentation is delivered in electronic format to meet agency compliance.
9. Occasionally traveling to supported sites as part of on-site deployment, upgrade, or troubleshooting assignments.

Duties & Role: Requirements Description:

1. Experience in managing core IT services (e.g. SharePoint, AD, DNS) in medium to large environments.
2. Foundational or working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services)
3. Good understanding of DNS architecture and domain name resolution in enterprise environments.
4. Hands-on experience or clear understanding of Active Directory administration, including users, groups, and organizational units.
5. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server environments, including system configuration, patching, and basic security controls.
6. Ability to create, troubleshoot, and apply Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
7. Exposure to endpoint security tools such as McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator.
8. Ability to provide Level 2/3 infrastructure support, including escalated troubleshooting, system monitoring and technical documentation.
9. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
10. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a secure, highperforming IT environment.

Skill, Knowledge & Experience: Desirable:
1. Familiarity with Windows Update Services, system patching strategies.
2. Knowledge of virtualization tools such as VMware vSphere, VSAN, or Hyper-V.
3. Understanding of server hardware (e.g., HP Blade servers, storage arrays) and networking fundamentals.
4. Exposure to deployment tools like Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) or Windows Autopilot.
5. Basic knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.) and how infrastructure components interact.
